The Arnolds, Bob and Molly, sought refuge from a rainstorm in this location in the mid-1990s. Distressed by the building’s dilapidation, Molly wished for someone to intervene. Bob’s response, emphasizing self-reliance and action, led to acquiring and transforming the building, revitalizing the area, and birthing a thriving enterprise. Rude Awakening today stands as a beloved coffee hub, embracing the ethos, “Coffee is Life.”
